How Did Aisling Kennedy Die?
Aisling was also remembered by her football club, which wrote: “Aisling put up an incredible fight in the last few weeks to overcome her injuries in her accident. Unfortunately the injuries were too severe. We offer our condolences and deepest sympathies to her family.
Aisling’s parents created a GoFundMe page and reported that Aisling had woken from the induced sleep she was in in April. Louise, her mum wrote that Aisling enjoys following us around with her eyes but does not like being tickled. Our amazing Temple Street doctors have confirmed to us that Aisling has overcome all odds. Patients who suffer as severe brain injuries as Aisling rarely survive. However, her long-term care will have profound, life-altering consequences.
The Irish Sun previously stated that Aisling’s uncle Jim Kennedy had told her: “It was just an accident. She got off the school bus and the poor old misfortunate man driving on the other side didn’t know anything. He was just driving along.” Numerous people have left condolences for Aisling’s family in their comments on the tribute posts. “The most tragic thing I have ever seen.” God bless her family, and may she rest in peace.
